New tracks for old tyres

Thanks to the hard work of the Northamptonshire Payback team our school gardens have 5 new and unique growing spaces in the shape of old tractor tyres! The enormous tyres were kindly donated and delivered to us by staff from Boughton Estate in Kettering following a plea from the Eco and Gardening club last term.

Last summer saw the installation of 5 large Boughton Estate Black Poplar tree trunks in the story den  and once again the hard working payback team have risen to another very physical challenge and have given these old tyres a new lease of life.

It will be very interesting to see what the children choose to grow in them….
